I was kind of thinking along the lines of SIN (1 day)-KUL (1 day)-HKG (1 or 2 days)-NRT (1 or 2 days). Just before anyone ask : No, I don't have any RTW with that routing. Just wanted a crazier themed Do.

My geography was not failed this time. I did it correctly as

YVR - SFO - JFK - YYZ - LHR - GVA - ZRH - LHR - SIN - SYD - AKL - SFO -YVR

Another weekend trip ?.

Just had a look at the timings of BA's SIN turnaround flights and it gets in at 1755 and departs at 2255. That would be enough time to nip up to KUL and back and also means it's not sat on the ground (usually at T3 while it's not operational) at Changi for 5 hours doing nothing.

BA are apparently planning long-haul expansion including KUL via SIA as an extension to the current BA11/BA12. Other destinations in the pipeline include ICN, KIX, EZE (direct), GIG (direct) & LAS. Won't happen till at least 2009 though...

With the amount of crew BA normally have on the gound in SIN, I'm sure they could rustle up enough to nip to KUL and back.
