  • Yet another bizarre incident

    http://m.scmp.com/news/china/article...fresh-air-take

All these news makes me jittery on my next flight. What if he felt the need for fresh air at 10k feet instead? 😮

He won't be able to open the door. Because aircraft doors cannot be opened when the aircraft is pressurized. Aircraft doors open inward, so with the amount the pressure exerted against the door in the air, it is far beyond human strength to open it.

Thought this is worst, by opening the emergency door just to "exit faster".

i just came off 4 CA flights past week, 2 domestic and 2 international. Part of the crew's routine boarding announcement includes something to the effect of "Pax please DO NOT TOUCH emex window levers".

Nothing new about bad passenger behavior, but seems like tampering with emex doors is far more common than I thought!
