This month's edition of air France inflight Magazine (#199, Novembre 2013) has a cover story on Jakarta.

The photo on the front cover shows a fleet of Pinisi at the port of Sunda Kelapa.

so CGK is still the winner
So it is! I stand corrected

According to this article in FT , SIN - CGK is the world's second biggest International route behind only HKG - TPE.

Here is the quote from the article:

Although Indonesia has been hit hard by the global sell-off in emerging markets in recent weeks, no one has told passengers on the more than 40 daily flights from Jakarta to Singapore, which has become the world’s fastest-growing major international air route.

The number of available seats jumped by 24 per cent in the past year, according to the Centre for Aviation, a market research company, after the Indonesia and Singapore governments raised a cap on flights between the two countries earlier this year.

With 130,000 return seats a week by November, Jakarta-Singapore will be the second biggest international route after Hong Kong-Taiwan and ahead of Hong-Kong-Shanghai, Dubai-Doha and New York JFK-London Heathrow.

Looking at changi website for today arrival, there is more than 40 daily flights between SIN and CGK right. 9 flights each for SQ and GA. Then follow 6 flights each for QZ and JT. 4 flights each on TR, RI, and VF. and 1 more flight on SJ.

So wonder, will other airlines follow AF. Is the traffic really that busy between SIN and CGK?

Is CGK the most frequency destination out of SIN?

If not mistaken, AF has 5th freedom rights from SIN, KUL, BKK, and CMB to CGK and DPS.

It's still the one daily 77W - just retimed. They will consider adding a second daily CDG-SIN-CDG flight if there's demand for one.
