    Breaking news

    A Lion Air 738 from Bandung - Denpasar plunge to the sea upon landing at Denpasar.

    Reason not known yet , all onboard were safe , attached picture.

    It's a 738, not a 739. PK-LKS. Was registered in Malaysia last month as 9M-LNB which OD used for proving flights.

                              Means it wasn't a RWY 27 landing that overran into the sea on the west end.

                              It was a RWY 09 Landing that landed short on the west end BEFORE the runway.

                              a RWY 09 overshoot - would have meant ploughing through the road on the eastern end that links the southern bali dumbbell area to the north (and thereby cutting savage25's only hope of getting to the IC Jimbaran).
