From 08SEP12 to 21SEP12, Emirates is to operate Airbus A380 aircraft on Dubai – Singapore EK354/355 service, replacing Boeing 777-300ER. SIN departure operates with the 517-seater A380 is from 09SEP12 to 22SEP12. Aircraft change was made in the GDS around (after) 0950GMT.

0325... What a convenient departure time for an A380 worth of passengers!

Can only assume they have a few connecting flights arriving close to midnight- even so, you'd have trouble not nodding off in the gate lounge.

Looks like Emirates have finally decided to fly the A380 to Singapore on a regular basis. EK354/355 gets the daily service effective 01 December.

With this, EK becomes the 6th carrier to operate A380's to SIN, following SQ, QF, LH, AF, and TG (Sep '12 to Dec '12)
