Hmm... Interesting developments. It's probably just a way for AMR to offload all its undesirable commitments rather than any serious danger of the airline going broke. But I'm sure it will be closely watched.

JL went bankrupt, then
QF went on grounding their aircrafts, and now
AA filled Chapter 11
