It's divided into several section...




From the reception, turn right.... you will reach the IT zone..




Turn left.... you will get the Deli and the Bar...





And these are the infamous "space age" designer's chair, The Cabin's trade mark...

First stop: IT Zone...
It's located at the rightest part of this looong rectangular chamber...

They used Macs...






It has its own F&B facilities and flights schedule display....






And it also has its own toilet...

Next stop: the Deli and the Bar...

One negative thing from this lounge: it didn't have any shower room.... just toilet...

If only it has shower rooms, it would be a perfect business class room...

But, it's still acceptable... not like the other, the "what supposed to be a luxurious lounge" but it didn't even have any toilet inside...

On the way to the gate, our "kampung" guy took some pictures of the aircraft there.... Here we can see how much he loved the aircraft....











When he arrived at the gate, he couldn't believe his eyes....
He looked at the gate, and looked back at his BP...
Yes... it's the right gate....
But he couldn't believe his eyes....
Something wrong there...

Yep, no scales at HKG CX F check-in. Somebody comes to take your luggage, you get given your BP/lounge invite and that's it. If they do weigh it, I've most finished and walked away by then.

Yep, no scales at HKG CX F check-in. Somebody comes to take your luggage, you get given your BP/lounge invite and that's it. If they do weigh it, I've most finished and walked away by then.

Btw Sir, you can always apply for Hong Kong Frequent Visitor Card (HKFV Card) to avoid those long lines... It has special fast track line, even using the diplomatic line... Never had more than 1 person ahead me at those lines...
And it's very easy to get...

After he was sure that he was on the right gate, our “kampung guy” approached the gate attendant, and asked her: "is this aircraft going to Surabaya?"
The attendant lady said: " Yes, Sir.... In fact we're going to commence the boarding process soon"...

"Ok... So I'm at the right gate.... Hmmm, I've been TG-ed by CX this time..." thought our "kampung guy"...

This is what he saw at the gate... An A330-300




When he did OLCI the night before, the seat map still shown as A340...
And the check in lady also said nothing about the aircraft change...
He opened his iPad, and checked the CX's website....
It was still shown as A340 for CX780...
Why there was A330 at the gate while the OLCI still shown A340???

It was a hugeeee differences between J class on CX's A340 and A330....


Ok... now it's time for boarding...
With no time, our "kampung guy" hurry went down to the aircraft...
