Equipment : Boeing 747-400
Checked in at changi airport at around 5pm. We got seats 45-46HJ. Today’s Flight out was FULL HOUSE. No empty seats i guess even in the J and F class. Today’s Departure was a Boeing 747-400 aircraft with an Registration 9V-SPP. Special Livery (Star Aliance). Departure from Gate B5.
Upon Boarding The Plane , I was guided to my seats by a senior stewardess don in a red kabaya. Boarding the plane and getting to settle down at the small little seat proven to take a bit of patience and patience and patience.
There is a 45 mins delay due to a missing passenger and his baggage had to be loaded out due to safety regulations. FOR EXAMPLE that missing passenger is an terrorist and checked in his “bomb” baggage and didn’t appear for the flight. So ya.
We took off at 9.45 sharp from unknown runway. Known to me is that the plane was turning left and right and BOOM..and lift off the runway.
We flew up to 10500 metres and dinner meal was served. As usual , meals were served to passenger with special request and kids meal. Today’s meal we have wok fried chicken with seasonal vegetable and streamed rice or Seared Fish with potato served with roasted chicken salad as an appetiser.
After meal , I asked an stewardess for a cockpit visit after the flight. Her reply is a big no and added on that after the 9-11 incident , they do not allow any cockpit visits anymore. Oh well , it’s okay.
After the dinner , I requested for plain water and the stewardess gave me 3 cup of it. Good service. Shorty After , I called for a cup noodle and finished it within mins. I am a BIG EATER.
Shortly after the dinner for an hour and a half or so , Breakfast WAS SERVED. HAHAH! I was like omg , I am gonna gain a few kilo today. At that time , I really can’t eat more but still I don’t know why I managed to finish it. Big eater you see. And I just noticed that the plane flew up to 11400 Metres which is roughly37000ft
After reaching adelaide area , we started having heavy turbulence and plane was going up and down and shaking. Trays were collected back and was all the way back for a toilet break and took some photos from the door windows.
Around 7.15 , we started approach and soon around 7.30 we were on the ground. Very Poor Visability upon arrival , captain reported that they too are unable to taxi and were asked to standby by the ATC.
While Disambarking the plane , we were directed to cross the business class and exit by the doors between first class and business class. I even sat on them
But no photos. Very rush because of the crowd behind me.
(Joke : I was thinking whether SQ were told to do this. Purposely direct the economy passengers through the J/F class and tempting them to upgrade on their return leg.
)
Only now i managed to see the plane reg (PP) and go ahead with the immgration. Hopefully SQ228 back would be on this aircraft again. But this time , the 2 seaters behind please.
