That's not true actually. I have had four crew bring me a birthday cake on the upperdeck of an SQ 744 and sing happy birthday to me, much to the amazement of my Mother who was sat next to me at the time.

I have flown to and from Danang from SGN on an A330, both times on one VN leased from China Airlines.

Wow, must be a "miraculous" event! LOL

I would be flying on a VN A333 in May too on HAN-SGN, but probably would not be a CI leased one.
