I too would say, Video-In, USB and LAN (Internet).

The top one allows you to connect a camera via TV out and view the pictures on the bigger screen.

Are the three ports actually usable?

I could plug my USB stick in an view an excel spreadsheet?
If I have the right cable, I could view my pics on my camera on the seat screen?
I don't see what LAN would do on the plane.

Sorry that I sound ignorant but I don't usually do gadgety stuff on the plane.

            Part 2: Wellington to Christchurch
            Air New Zealand Economy Class

            NZ433 9 Dec 2009
            STD/ATD: 0840/0847
            STA/ATA: 0925/0921
            Aircraft: Boeing 737-300 ZK-NGI

After a long break, here's the second segment.

Wellington Airport overview with NZ 737 departing.

            First impressions

So you think this is the restricted area? Even though that big glass facesthe tarmac, it's not. Completely public.

            Checkin

I'm starting to like this airport. This is how close you get to a 737 (look at the equipment in front to compare the size). All this in a publicly accessible area. Now how about Changi...

She'll take me to CHC today.

              Boarding

              Pushback from ANZ land.

              Steep climb out of Wellington

And we're above the clouds in no time!

              Safety card

Soon after, water was served, followed by a snack. Muffin or muesli today?
It's a peach and passionfruit muffin.

I was somewhat surprised as the flight was listed as "No Meal". For a 34 minute flight, they still served a snack!

                Approaching CHC

                Here we are...

Thanks to the crew who put up with me after the flight to take some pics and also let me have a peek in the cockpit.
                Here are some shots:

                Cabin

Finally, on the way out, the arrival hall

                And the airport building

Domestic Koru Hour flights (737 or A320 flights except for Christchurch to Queenstown) on weekdays that depart between 5:50am and 9:00am a choice of muesli or muffin is served, and those that depart between 4:30pm and 7:00pm a choice of bagel bites with dip or cheese and crakers, plus wine & beer is served.

GDS do not show as being a meal because it is not substantial enough for a meal, is not guaranteed (if too much turbulence it will not be served) and is not offered in the event Q300 or ATR a/c is substituted (unlikely on most routes but sometimes applies for WLG-CHC and CHC-DUD).
