Alaska Airlines Semi-Milk Run trip report
Dear all,
Don’t want to write a full report! However, I have recently gotten the chance to experience a very special flight personally! I have always wanted to fly an Alaska Airlines’ milk run flight and according to the F/A, I picked the semi milk run – JNU-YAK-CDV-ANC, and it was quite an experience. I also get to fly a new aircraft type – Boeing 737-400 Combi. Unfortunately the weather was a bit cloudy but managed to get some nice pictures.
I have to say the F/As are all nice on my intra-Alaskan flights and even better than other similar medium haul flights from Seattle. I got an upgrade from ANC to Juneau and got the typical quiche with fruit, and for the semi milk run, express service was offered on all the short segments – orange juice cup and gourmet party mix. Anytime picnic packs are offered for sale on all flights. Water was offered in addition to the orange juice cup and party mix on the YAK to CDV flight with a low passenger load and slightly more time permitted.
Just some basic flight detail and just click on the link to the shutterfly photo album!
