Such an interesting route - I may never get to try this.
More pictures of Dhaka to come?

          Do: Dhaka!

I don't see Dhaka on the list of the world's most expensive cities.

Aren't they all usually bad to begin with? It's the thought that counts

I got another recommendation: Not just sealed bottled water, but sealed IMPORTED bottled water. The local ones are pretty dodgy also. My minibar's Perrier and Evian are very welcome indeed. Also of note: The Coke Light/Diet Cokes I've been ordering are from Singapore. Apparently Bangladesh domestic market doesn't have it.

Why not? It's just an additional 2 hours from there. Besides, I could use the company

Oh, they looked up Wikipedia, saw that it was rated one of the least livable cities in the world and decided not to come.

Thanks. It's actually not quite black. It's a very deep purple - called by the rather dodgy name "Lincoln Park at midnight" by OPI.

A little knackered after my day at work - will get them up in a bit, but here's one in the meantime for your enjoyment

and yes, he is outside the bus, and yes it is moving. At about 40 mph.

An interesting TR so far, SQfg. Shame about the old-skool cabin on the A330 though - my eyes hurt from the colour of the seats

And I respectfully submit to your superior, sexier legs in the trademarked legroom shots

The Roof - a class above First

And he appears to be all by himself in the class above First, which tallies with many people's own experience on the Golden Goose

Oops! I swear I wasn't drinking when I typed that.

Just a couple more before i turn in for the night:

Here's the friggin railway line that runs not very far from my room. The bl00dy
train drivers just LOVE yanking the bl00dy horn all day long. Drives me up the wall.

A bunch of crazy chickens. And some poultry in baskets heading for the slaughterhouse no doubt.

The MH satay looks much better than the one on SQ. How about in the taste department SQFG?

The pictures of the city sure looks very much like Pakistan.
