Despite the great distances, FRA was an easy airport to navigate. And you can literally hop and skip anywhere in the airport without an outgoing BP and no one will ask a thing, except the C area that is.
A funny incident occurred at the security screening area for entry into A, on my way to meet berlinflyer (LH board, TOF) who's just flown in from TXL. I didn't notice that there was a separate queue for C and F pax, and joined the regular queue. Then one of the security officers yanked me out of the queue and pulled me to a corner. I was thinking that I'd been selected for a random secondary inspection. Then he pointed to the stub of my incoming BP from LH 773 and told me that I was supposed to be queuing up 'right here!' (there was no line at all), and not to clog up the regular line.
While in the FCL B, there were lots of nice big birdies taxiing past:
