  • Singapore to Sapporo and back with JL (Pictures)

    Greetings

Arrived at Changi 2 hours before departure for my flight to Sapporo via Tokyo Narita. My bag was tagged to SPK via NRT(Surprised to see SPK and not CTS). The check-in agent advised that passengers connecting to domestic flights were required to pick up their bags at NRT and drop them off at the respective airline counters at NRT.

Being a night flight, I opted to sit at 52D instead of the window(My sister ended up taking seat 52A which was a windowless-window seat). This flight was totally full in Y. I did not take much pictures for this flight, more will be elaborated on the JAL B787 Y class product on the return flight.

After clearing immigration and collecting our bags, we proceeded to the JAL domestic check-in counter which was just a short 3 minute walk across the arrival hall itself in terminal 2.

The flight to Sapporo was relatively empty and the check-in agent allocated my Mom, Sis and I, new seats.

      New boarding pass for NRT-CTS.

After check-in was done, We had 4 hours till our next flight. I took the free shuttle bus to Terminal 1 to do some spotting at the observation deck.

Taken from T2 observation deck. JA829J being prepared to fly to DEL

Soon it was time to board JL3045 for CTS. After going through security check, it was a short walk over to gate 65

JL3045 was operated by JA301J, A B737-800. Cabin was very clean and tidy. The cabin crew came around with blankets for those who needed them. I felt that was a very nice touch despite it being a short 1 hour flight!

        Taxiing to the runway

        After takeoff

It was a short one hour flight between NRT and CTS. After takeoff, the crew came around with drinks service. The cabin crew on this flight were all female, They were very friendly and always had a smile

Double rainbow greeting us on arrival in Sapporo!

Hope you enjoyed reading this picture-report and I do apologise for the lack of words! Next up, the return trip!
