KL J, SIN-DPS-SIN

No pics, but had a very pleasant experience on KL SIN-DPS-SIN last week.

SIN-DPS was on KL's newest 777-300ER. Slopey lie-flat was perfectly adequate for the short journey. There was a full printed menu for the SIN-DPS sector, amenity kit and decent catering and wine. No Delft houses given though. The best part was immigration escort provided for all J pax, which was instrumental in getting us past the throng of SQ pax who had arrived shortly before.

DPS-SIN was on an older 777-200ER. Older slopey lie-flats without fixed seat backs, but again fine for the short ride. Catering quality was somewhat below that of the SIN-DPS leg. Again there was a dedicated printed menu, and amenity kit. And Delft houses this time! (@UMD)

Service was warm and friendly both ways.

All in, a surprisingly good experience, an fantastic value compared to SQ. Would happily fly KL on this sector again.

I have a feeling that my collection of the little blue Delft houses is going to grow again soon.

It's great that you like this 5th freedom service. KLM is the only airline that serves full meal on its 5th freedom flight. Its flight to CGK from KUL also has the same service in C.

I think it depends on the crew. The last few times I flew KL to DPS from SIN, I always got the blue delft houses both ways.
