On other airlines the spiel usually goes: "Put on your own oxygen mask first, before assisting children travelling with you..."

Seems TG is saying: "Put on your own mask, relax, and allow children travelling with you to slowly pass out from the lack of oxygen..."

Nice lunch menu as well. A few differences with the inaugural menu we had on October 6th is grouper instead of salmon (which beat the grouper on SQ 748) and port instead of cognac.
Any TR for that? Love to read the inaugural one... Must be a lovely experience...

So A380s don't go yaakkk on landing?

They don't really optimise their seating do they?
          Ahhhhh.... Forgot that expression...
          Must rewind the landing sequances...
No need to optimized the seating, it's A380 after all... A lot of space there...

Well it's good to know... Next time there's an annoying screaming kid who won't shut up on TG - decompress the cabin!

This whale is unfortunately (or fortunately) not as huge as the other one, kyo+++! Plus he's a lot drier.

Indeed! Especially the first picture in the lounge. Nice bright lighting in the background. The Grand Dame looked rather stunning in black with a red belt against the white background.

To our 3 esteemed members on this TG A380 flight's First cabin, which seat in the cabin is best?

I am booked on 23 Dec BKK-FRA using US Airways miles and A side is fully occupied and left only middle seats and K side window seats. As the lav is located behind 3K, will there be any issue at all? I am kinda deciding between 1K or 3K. Or 2K for more windows?

all the windows ranked (by me, so opinions personal)

                                In descending order of niceness:

2K, 2A, 3K=3A, 1K, 1A. Row 1 = avoid. Somehow don't get a particularly nice feeling about that row. Claustrophobic (if there was such a thing for an F seat)
