  • MVD to AEP on Aerolineas and B.Aires visit

Hi there, I'm attempting my first TR and its a short flight, only 40 minutes from Montevideo (MVD) to Buenos Aires (AEP - the smaller inner city airport of the Argentinean capital).

So, here goes, its a crisp and sunny Saturday morning, and here's my awaiting plane

    Boarding time

Walking through the aerobridge, nice that the sun shines through

    Business Class seats

    My seats

Leg Room is not so bad .... for 40 mins

    Looking out the window

MVD - not so huge an airport

    Bye Bye Montevideo
(interesting fact: Uruguay has less than 4 million people, less than Singapore, but their football team placed 4th at the last World Cup!)

Hmmmm ....this zip-loc looks super recycled

    Entertainment ...

    Enroute

    Hellooo Buenos Aires

    Taxi-ing at AEP

    No aerobridge but weather's great

The line fro Citizens was longer than the Foreigner's one

and that ends the flight part of the TR ... but will add a few ground shots later

          Finally, we reach our destination

          the grill is already going

          beef !

we take a walk while the beef cooks

the house is rustic and charming

Lunch is ready .... Yummy ... but i gotta say these guys tend to over cook their beef a tad

Well, on that note, that concludes this TR ... hope its interesting for some of you. Salute

Never knew the countryside is so green down there! And the slabs of meat on the BBQ - they know how to cook it! Thanks for the TR, dttj0069!

CarbonMan, it is amazingly green there ... Actually, I only scratched the surface, the country is huge and many more places to explore (skiing, mountains, horse riding, wineries, whale watching, and BA is also very happening as a city)
