  • The Colorful Paradise of Kaua'i

    Hi all!

I wanted to share some pictures of my weekend getaway in Kaua'i earlier this summer. I didn't record much of the flight itself, seeing it were standard and uneventful UA F flights. The Grand Hyatt was a decent hotel, but way too big for my standards. It did its job, but neither the flights nor the hotel

The flight has me doing LAX-LIH-LAX:

So grab a mai tai (if you're legally allowed to), get your sunglasses and sunscreen and enjoy the views!

Friendly warning about the beach. 82 dead. Ack. Yes I did go into the water. But because of the terrain, the currents and wind were crazy. It makes sense why the warning is there

                Pihea Trail

Some parts are less of a trail and more mountain climbing

Hope you enjoyed the fantastic views of Kaua'i. I can't wait to go back!

Hard to tell but my shoe was hanging over a sheer 200 foot vertical drop

Stunning TR, I really enjoyed this and adding this onto my places-to-visit list, thanks for going to the trouble... but we need more shower shots!

                          Thanks for the TR.

Food looks yummy! They do ice kachang too! I love the look of the greasy burgers. Those shrimps look delicious.

But I don't think the landscape in Hawaii is 'me'. A bit too green and lush for my liking. But that's just me.
