Judging by the prices Jetstar is offering, they are definitely more than value for money! My total cost on Jetstar + 4 nights hotel accommodation in a 4-star hotel can't even get me a return ticket in economy on SQ!

Unfortunately I dont find it so for their Melbourne route. Price is pretty similar ($100-200 more) to SQ's flexi saver fares for Melbourne. On some dates, they are more expensive.

Yep, but I do agree that their NZ fares are really a steal...
