Trip report - Banyan Tree Macau (Opened 15 May)

Just back from a trip to Macau because of the new Banyan Tree Hotel at Macau Galaxy, I was impressed by the photos from their website and the introductary offer, why not give it a try!?

The ferry from Tuen Mun (Hong Kong) to Macau finally started service in April 2011, Tuen Mun Pier is only 5 minutes walk from the home. The journey is about 1 hour.

Took the Macau Galaxy shuttle bus outside the pier, and finally arrived:

The room was not available yet during check-in, so I walk around first:

Got my room st 15:30 finally, once open the door, the room is really look like the one in the promotion photos!!

And the view outside the balcony, Zhuhai is just opposite!




For the Banyan Tree Macau, the hardware is really nice, but I think it take times for the staff to familiar with the hardware. From the opening till now, the hotel is still suffering late room available due to the long time to prepare the room, some may get their room at 18:00

In addition, the introductory offer was nice, stay one night and you get a voucher for 1 night stay (room only) valid till 30 Dec 2011

i doubt a hotel would want to open without a casino in macau XD

pictures look great, i was in the venetian in march and that was pretty nice too. but this one just takes it up another step.
