I wish I could get on the earlier flight from BKK so I can connect to the evening flight to MES on SilkAir that night and do not have to stay over at Hotel SKL.

Isn't 976 flying back to SIN as 979? Maybe there is a chance that I could still see you in the gate somehow. Back in the days when you were still doing the turnaround, this was very possible.

Yes, that accurately captures how my mood will be. And since it's daytime, unlikely I'll be able to meet up with any friends during that 4-hour transit. I'll just be stuck there in that horrible place (namely: TBIT) for hours on end.
