Hi all
just saw this intro section after posting a few replies/questions. A bit late but great to be part of this likeminded gang.

Current living and working in Dubai. Fly with EK on biz class when on official trips (being a good government employee). See my postings on the downgrading expriences on these trips. Otherwise, fly SQ either to home (SG of course) or to IST for that quick fix.

Not done DXB-DME yet. May do that someday. Working on retaining my KF gold for next year.

Hoping that there is a KF lounge in DXB now that it flies 2x to SG daily. LH lounge reminds me of china factory canteen.

After switching to fly to SIN and AKL with SQ instead of TG, I believe it is better to join in as a member after reading threads for some time. I'm in BKK working between BKK, SIN and AKL depending on my assignment.

I usually play around at hflight.net which is Thai web board. So I'm quite new here. Hopefully to get to know you all. Thank you.
