The first aerial view of SIN is Cathay Building.
Building was a big deal in those days as the tallest skyscraper in SIN!
Some scenes ( passport control ) may have been Kallang Airport! -
Yeah Cathay really stood the test of time (well, maybe not any more)...
Oh yah forgot about Kallang.... My early memories are of Paya Lebar Airport where we use to wait for our dad coming back from sea (flying in actually)....

According to this, Kallang Airport closed in August 1955 so perhaps the pictures are of the then new(ish) Paya Lebar ?
Nice pics of a Malayan Airways bus (the original ancestor of SQ and MH) and BOAC planes (which merged with BEA to form BA)!
