That was an absolutely epic performance! I was as gobsmacked as Michael Johnson in the BBC commentary box. Just stunning.

The next question is, after his qualifying for the for 200m finals in 1st place of both heats, will he pull out all the stops and beat the record he set last year of 19.30?
His times yesterday of 20.70 and 20.42 are just over a second off that pace.......I hope he was pacing himself and does something amazing.
If God had really intended men to fly, he'd make it easier to get to the airport.

His last 100m split in the 150m street race in Manchester in May was 8.72s - if he can keep the pace up around the curve, a sub-19s time in the 200m is not far fetched.

There goes the 200 as well

An identical 0.11 lopped off the 200m WR.

        This guy is amazing.

i was dumbstruck watching that last night on the BBC.
How is it humanly possible to run a 19.81 and, in running terms, be absolutely nowhere in sight? That was second place....
Bolt continues to rewrite the rule book, then rip it up.
