  • BREAKING NEWS: Concorde may fly again!!!

    http://www.flightglobal.com/blogs/fl...fly-again.html
"In honor of the 40th anniversary of its first flight in 1969, the French Musée de l'Air et de l'Espace has restored Concorde F-BTSD (cn. 213) to flying condition and will take to the sky again on June 16, 2009 at 10:00 AM from Le Bourget Field at the Paris Air Show."

Tears of joy shall run down my face IF this happens. Good morning y'all!

And I dunno if its true, or if its an April Fools joke.

This is a wicked April Fool's joke.

      Flight: AF1 (April Fool 1)

It originated from Musée de l'Air et de l'Espace - http://www.mae.org/concorde-40-ans/r...-concorde.html. Article is dated 01042009.

And you'll be earning PPSV and KF miles, in recognition of SQ's status as former Concorde operator.

And UGX points too! I think I'll triple dip in BA and AF too, since they too operated concorde. Does Braniff still have an FFP I can quadruple dip to?

Well, as it's now Springtime at Singapore Airlines (you know, all this courtesy QPP stuff ), you should really contact them and see if you could wrangle a comp LPP for this.
