It seems like carrying an extra engine is a 747 'thing'. I can't find photos with any other aircraft type carrying an extra engine. Is it true? OT I once flew LHR-SIN on SQ ( can't remember 747 or 707 ) carrying a 5th engine.
Pilot apologized that we would be late arriving because of the extra drag imposed by said engine.Comment
