  • BRAUN BÜFFEL MEN'S WALLET question

Has anyone bought this item from SIA inflight sale?? Is it good or is it "not-suitable-for-student" because it suits more for an audlt?

My polo wallet is in very bad condition so I'm trying to buy a new one that costs about AUD120.

Any recommendations from uni students or adults who have young minds from SQTALK? haha

I have. Dont know how you define good. For me, the numerous card slots are good for me so that's good. I like it also that the bull doesn't stick out like some of the others they have

I'm confused over the apparent distinction between 'suitable for student' vs adults. It ought to be up to your own tastes and needs no?
All opinions shared are my own, and are not necessarily those of my employer or any other organisation of which I'm affiliated to.

I agree. It depends on one's preference but I'm just asking as generalized question.
Just been thinking whether I should go for TUMI that has coin pockets but limited card storages or with Braun that has many card slots.

I bought the wallet last summer from Krisshop but can't recommend it at all... the leather scratches very easily which does not look nice and it turned out that for me, it's not useful at all as I need to carry coins with me... I don't know where to put all the coins if there's no compartment for them... it's suitable as a second wallet... ideal to leave at home for your spare cards (useful for people with a bunch of Frequent Flyer Cards or preferably a bunch of Credit Cards )

A couple of days later I purchased a Ferragamo Wallet at the airport in TPE... maybe slightly over your target budget of AUD 120 but definitely worth the price... and it has a big compartment for all my coins

Price Range of Ferragamo Wallets: From USD 150-300 or so... and there are a few really nice looking wallets in their collection!

By the way after "hard work" in "real life" for 2 years I will also go back to be student next year...

My rule of thumb is that my wallet should never cost more than the money in it...suits me perfectly fine now that I'm a poor starving grad student

My current wallet is a well-worn 4-year old fake Calvin Klein leather wallet bought for something like 120 Baht in Chatuchak market. Its the only one I've found with the right number and location of pockets, flaps and zips.

SQOZflyer and Savage25, what do you guys study anyway?

Anyway, I've been with my polo for 7 years, so I'm happy to throw it away since it's starting to get torn apart.

Beats me...I woke up today with a hangover, six figures worth of debt and a sneaking suspicion that I could have just Googled all the stuff I learned!

Braun Buffel does looks nice in picture, but it's not that great in quality wise. If you are in Australia, I think Oroton is a better choice. There's no such things whether it suits students or adults, it's a personal preferences. My partner is using this wallet called daks, I bought it in Thailand and the quality seems to be pretty decent. It's quite affordable and you should be able to find it in Korea as well.

I'm currently using Bally and even though, it's supposed to be "adult like", the quality is pretty good. It cost a bit more than your budget though

Well, I treasure my Braun Buffel wallet since it's a reminder of special someone and a special rememberance of certain occasion in my so-called-life.

                      That's nice to know
Mine was somewhat less sentimental. It'll remind me of how nice SQ was when I had a non-operable seat
