  • USAF diplomatic 747 and 737 at SIN today

When my flight from KUL arrived in SIN today, I managed to catch a rare sight of a USAF B747 in the white and blue "United States of America" diplomatic colours sitting at the VVIP terminal (It was, however, not a presidential "Air Force One" 747 as the tailfin reg. was not 28000 or 29000.)

Parked up behind was at least 2 other USAF VIP jets, including a new 737 with the big winglets.

Great sight , even though I was seated on the wrong side of the a/c, so was unable to grab a photo...

Just to correct a mis-conception. Whichever plane Potus is on is designated Air Force 1. Its not related to a specific plane.

        The registrations are:

        50125 for the 747

        10015 for the 737-800.

I have the pictures of both flights parked at Changi. Between the 747 and 737, there was another plane with reg 20042. Next to the 737 is a plane of Bundesrepublik Deutscland

I wonder how many stops the B737 made on the long flight to Changi.

Do they support mid air refuelling?
