This development suggests that Singapore Airlines’ fellow Star Alliance airlines’ operations will be centered in T2. SQ code share flights will operate from T5, as T5 is likely to be a dedicated Singapore Airlines/Scoot terminal.
I hope that CAG is taking note that the underground Skytrains need to service both airside passengers and the public between T5 and T2 and vv. There will be passengers transferring from T5/T2 (as well as T1/T3) on different carriers that necessitate a physical re-check-in after clearing immigration and customs.
