Changi Airport Spotters Guide

Thought I'd start up a thread for the spotters here, to guide those new and give all heads-up on special movements and schedule changes.

So, to kick off, here's how the schedule is going to change to/from Changi in the coming few weeks:

1. Vietnam Airlines flight VN661/660's operational aircraft will be switched to the Boeing 787-9 on 26FEB16. Plans are subject to change.
   
2. Emirates flight EK404/405's operational aircraft will be switched to the Airbus A380, instead of Boeing 777-300ER from 01MAR16. Both Singapore and Melbourne will therefore receive the 2nd daily A380 services.
   
3. Air France flight AF254's Jakarta leg will be discontinued from 27MAR16, new flight number AF256/257. STD back to Paris is 22:50SGT
   
4. Etihad Airways flight EY470's operational aircraft will be switched to the Airbus A330-300 on Sundays (Monday arrival in SIN), instead of 787-9 from 28MAR16.
   
5. United Airlines flight UA803/804's operational aircraft will be switched to the Boeing 787-9, instead of 777-200ER from 27MAR16 to 01JUN16.
   
6. Korean Air flight KE643/644's operational aircraft will be switched to the Boeing 747-8I, instead of 747-400 from 01MAR16 to 26MAR16.
   
7. EVA Air flight BR215/216 will operate 3 times a week, increasing the airline's weekly flights to 13, instead of 11. From 27MAR16, it will fly on Monday, Thursday and Saturday. Additionally, Thursday flights will be operated by A330-200 from 23JUN16.
   
8. Fiji Airways flight FJ361/360 will commence from 05APR16. The twice weekly flights will arrive before dusk and depart at 0910 on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
   
9. Finnair flight AY81/82's operational aircraft will be flown by the Airbus A330 and A350 from 05MAY16 to 02AUG16, with daily A350 flights beginning on 03AUG16.

Just minor corrections,

EY470 is to be operated by A333 on Sundays (Monday arrival into SIN)

UA803/804 operational aircraft is B787-9.

Not sure of the validity of this info, but I'll post it nonetheless.

9V-SMA scheduled to park at B5, Terminal 3 (the Crowne Plaza gate) and preparations for its arrival will begin at 9 to 9:30AM. It will land at 10AM. Runaway 02L is all but confirmed.

UPDATE: Upon arrival at Changi, 9V-SMA will be greeted with a water cannon salute and taxi into gate B8 for a media event.
