MIAT Mongolian Airlines has started to offer flights between Singapore and Ulaanbaatar via Beijing. They are deploying Boeing 737-800 aircraft for this service.

There are some interior layouts and tiny pics here. Apart from that they don't seem to advertise much about their service, food, IFE. If not for the web frontpage, it feels almost soviet.

Their inaugural flight was made on the B767-300ER. So was this just a one-off? SIN-PEK seems really long for a B737-800, even with winglets.

I would be surprised if the B738 doesn't take payload restrictions for the SIN-PEK sector. I don't know how this twice-weekly route would be financial feasible for MIAT though.
