Has anyone heard? T2-T3 Confusion

I'm sure someone has considered putting SQ and Star Alliance partners in T1 and T3 and moving everyone else to T2. Is there a reason why that wouldn't work?

This may be a barbaric idea but...

Give SQ Terminal 3
Leave Star Alliance Airlines in T2
And Other Airlines in T1 (As it basically is already)

Its kind of similar to Zvezda's idea....

The problem with that is that SQ would be far from the other Star Alliance carriers.
