More take-offs from Changi airport in Oct

ATC before do something about it soon before Changi becomes another JFK. LHR, which probably have almost double the aircraft movements + night curfew and same 2 runways, performed much better in this aspect. I am amazed how planes can takeoff/land every minute in LHR!

Saw 11 planes waiting for us to land today early evening, and our flight spent 30 mins circling over Malaysia and Indo before final approach

Possibly weather-related. But yes, it's getting more and more congested.

Utter rubbish this morning. 02L/20R closed. Delayed badly...... and I guarantee it was not weather related.

4:55 was STA but we were only on the ground around 5:20pm...

If i had not mistaken, late afternoons are not peak periods for Changi are they? So if there were so many planes waiting, I'm guessing it's due to a runway closure.

Will report back on Tuesday to see how it goes.

Arrived on AK703 a few hours ago. We spent a few minutes circling around before making a 2R arrival. No major delays thankfully.
