There are renovations going on at LM at the moment, or there were a few weeks ago. They have also opened some check in desks at ground level where you enter the building from the KLIA Ekspres.

A little birdy did tweet about that to me a couple of days ago (thanks!), so I knew what I was in for. Seeing as I don't spend any time in the lobby, I wasn't affected much but yes, there's major renovations due to complete in November and the lobby lifts require a transit through Level 3's Latest Recipe lobby.

Check-in is as P3. Fortunately, they upgraded to a suite for the last night, without my further intervention, and am happy with the stay as I inch closer towards SPG50. Were it not for the Starwood system-wide changes, I'd have booked the HH next door.

Regarding the W Sentosa - I've definitely got a room there on the day the TG 388 was planned to do its original inaugural, and will be doing my b'day bash there. All SQTalkers invited, of course. It'll be before November. Maybe SQfg would like to change to slightly earlier?

I'm sure someone else would have reviewed it by then, however!

Ha! I wish - no plans to be in SIN anytime soon unfortunately. As an aside I'll be back at the W HK over NYE.

However I've booked my parents at the W Singapore for a quick getaway this Dec. Will just have to live vicariously through them! SGD390 for a Wonderful Room. It's an additional SGD100 for an Away Room which comes with better views and its own private plunge pool but mum didn't like the idea as she can't swim... never mind that most plunge pools are less than a metre in depth!

There are some awesome pics on the W Singapore's FB page - WET Bar looks truly amazeballs!! I look forward to more comprehensive ones on here in due course.

edit: managed to talk them into an Away Room.

Sadly, I have to cancel this before 3pm tomorrow. When I booked it I didn't realise I'd have F1 guests in town. Just not gonna work.

Things were much easier when you're a student.

Made a booking for early December as part of the $388 deal. ZoukOut weekend, so may be tempted to go for a quick gallivant...

I was tempted for about 10 seconds before they assured me they had their accommodation well sorted and some time in the casinos planned... are you heading over anytime soon?

Nothing planned, although I do have to go down under in the next couple of weeks. How and when I do that still isn't sorted.

Azerbaijan this weekend for 3 days....
