Had a quick overnight stay here last week. Brief thoughts:
* Went directly to the Grand Club to check-in, and was escorted to the room where the guest folio was already prepared and awaiting signature on the desk. Nice touch.
* Although I arrived close to the end of Happy Hour, the friendly staff insisted I come back up for a drink and said not to worry even if I came up a bit later.
* On the downside I didn't really find any of the food spread very appetising. Nor was there any hot food, other than eggs to order, available at breakfast the next day. So in short, I found the F&B offerings at the Grand Club to be well short of other counterparts which I frequent in the region (BKK, JKT, HKG)...
* The 2-tier elevator system is already well discussed, and IMO an annoying waste of time.
* In general I found the atmosphere/decor a little cold.
* I didn't spend a lot of time there but will definitely return and see how things have progressed.
