Wow, you must have been so lucky to have tried to dine in those places, GT84!
I am very lucky. Especially to get into ElBulli. Had to make reservations some 11 months in advance (they're only open six months out of the entire year), and then book an entire trip to Europe around that one restaurant.
Okay, I have to include these two in the list. You all must try the cooking of my ex-SO and, yes one of our SQTalkers here, DeltaFlyingProf. He did indeed cook a very good soup and salmon while I went to visit him!

Not unlucky at all. Think of all the places in the world you've dined with several of us!
Well, the recommendations need to be based on personal experience. Certainly we did have a very high mark for that watermelon martini at Mandarin Oriental Knightsbridge. Hmm we love Mosaic in Ubud, right?
I've not seen any of their stores before.
None of them are actually near MEL per se. The best one would be the Healesville branch which is near the popular Healesville Sanctuary. Or if you head out to the beach at Torquay (past Geelong), the Grovedale store would be a good bet. Both are far from being near MEL though.
Most of those are located in Queensland it seems.

I have posted a link along with my picture. It seems likely that you did not look at it. All the information is available there for you in English, along with more pictures.
In Penang, Kheng Pin Cafe at the corner of Jalan Sri Bahari and Jalan Penang is good place for breakfast and lunch. They close in the evening. They have a delicious satay! MUCH above SQ's
You can also try the Gurney hawker center. Lots of things to try... maybe I will post some pictures once I get them uploaded.

There's only One way to fly.... SINGAPORE AIRLINES!
If SQ is too expensive, the other way to fly is Qatar Airways
