Anyone knows if one still needs to pass thru immigration and collect baggage when transiting in PVG? I have a flight on SQ arriving at 1245 connecting to UA at 1345. Is this too tight to engineer?

Regarding luggage, for international to domestic, I have always had to clear immigration and collect luggage. Friends of mine managed to have it go through when transferring from an international MU flight to a domestic MU flight./Desert Traveller

I did HKG-PVG-BUS via different airlines on each sector and baggage was transferred.
Didn't even consider that it wouldn't. Only issue was the parking space of the flight from/to HKG and the very long bus transit time as it needs to cross two taxiway.
