But those are both their long haul fleets, these are regional birds.

Well I know little about NZ and Tasman flights but a quick look at AKL-SYD shows a mixture of A320's and 763's ?.

SQ's product is touted more as a regional one as opposed to QF and NZ - both of which are longhaul products.

In any case, in premium classes - I don't really look at sheer pitch numbers. I much prefer looking at "total real estate" because there's so much variation and creativity these days in the way seats are laid out. The above example for NZ BP you quote above is a prime example. If you were to look at pitch by its' strictest definition, then NZ business premier would in reality be 28 inch pitch or something like that, and 79.5inch width - which I don't think will go down well

At krisflyer.com, we can still do online redemption of First Class SAVER awards for flights to Hong Kong (SQ866, SQ870) & Beijing (SQ800 & SQ810) which shows B777-200 aircraft, 3 class configuration for far away dates like in Dec 2010.

I'm wondering if we really redeem a SAVER First Class redemption on the above flights now, when the flights get the new refitted B777-200 with only Business & Economy Class later in the months to come, will we be downgraded to Business Class or get transferred to another flight which has First Class seats and they happen to be on B777-300ER left? (Eg: I redeem First Class saver award on SQ866 now, then in May, the aircraft does not have First Class because it got changed to the 2 class one, will I get to transfer to another flight with First Class say SQ860 or SQ2 (B777-300ER) or still on SQ866, but on Business Class instead)? Anyone encountered this before?

Yep, not to mention they put "It can get cold by the exits" on every exit row seat.

Exactly. I only use seatguru for checking on seat numbers for airlines I don't fly with frequently.

Spot on. They do try, but ultimately they're dependent on input from their users.

In this case, StarG is right, seatguru is wrong. 33" in the SV's, 32" in the SQ's and SR's. I've asked SQ the same question.

For this matter, I would trust SQ than Seat Guru.
There's no reason why SQ would undermarket their products.

A long time ago, I have asked SQ to be sure, and got this reply:
