          • I just checked, Christchurch & Auckland (SQ281/282) flights are soon going to be refurbished too, so you will get either SQx or SRx birds on these two sectors.

            Auckland (SQ285/286) still remains on a 77W.

Im booked on SQ281 and new seat map was provided on selcting seats. I had trouble working out which a/c this was. Usually I travel on SQ286/285 as SQ281/2 is spacebed but timings are better for me.

                  Looking forward to it...

Although I am flying from Europe in F for the first time so it might be a comedown!

                  Cheers

#9 is out... 9V-SRN is currently doing an air test and is expected to be in service soon.

SQ866/865 (SINHKGSIN) and SQ528/529 (SINMAASIN) has already switched over to a B72A... expect SQ281/282 (SINAKLSIN) to be next w.e.f. 03Jul.

On a separate note, 9V-SRQ appears to have gone in for a refurbishment a few days ago...

                      • I will be flying to Delhi in SQ J thanks to mileage redemption on the refurbished aircraft or at least thats what scheduled as of this moment. I was hoping if someone could enlighten me on the best seats in the cabin. The most important question is that is it possible to leave the window seat even though the aisle seat is in a fully reclined position, because although there is availability now, havent booked it yet, the seat map on ef is filling up fast

9V-SRN entered service today on SQ866 to HKG.

It also looks like the remaining two B72As due for refurbishment, 9V-SRO and 9V-SRQ have gone in for the beige treatment...

Just returned on -SRN "inaugural" () HKG-SIN serving SQ865. Everything smelled new, I didn't realise *that* new.

Unfortunately not perfect re-fit though. There was a huge amount of loud creaking-sounds coming from the divider between the 2nd J cabin and the Y cabin, bad enough to warrant a complaint to the IFS.

Haha... it actually went for a test flight a few days back... I wonder why they didn't pick it up then.

Anyway it's stopping over in SIN for tonight, so presumably someone will take a look at this problem (we hope...).

That's not a good start. Did the IFS indicate if he/she knew what it was ?.
