Seat information on SQ318 requested

Hello,

Can someone tell me if seats 77AC or 77HK are still free on flight SQ318 from SIN to LHR on Fri 26 March.
I would like to be certain before booking my flight online.

Is there any other possibility to get this kind of information BEFORE booking online via Singapore Airlines.

Any help is most wellcome.

No way to check. KVS/EF only shows F & J.

Why 77? What's so special about those seats?

Another way is after booking, call SQ up to reserve either of those seats.

Sorry TS, no one would be able to know this in advance. The closest you can get is to try to book the flight ONLINE and then do a seat selection

I do not think the reservation hotline allow you to "reserve" particular seat. At least its not in the official ToA

I actually tried before, they can insert a comment in the reservation and I did get the seat I wanted.

It's not that I am looking for seats 77 in particular.
In fact any seat AC/HK on the upper deck will do. These are the only 2seats in a row in economy.
I just returned from Singapore and we had seat 77HK.( which I selected during my online booking on the SQ website).
The only way to know if seats are still available is to find someone who already booked this same flight online.
This person could then check via the option CHANGE SEATS if my "prefererred" seats are still available.
So anyone booked online for flight SQ318 from SIN to LHR on Fri 26 March ?

You have answered your own questioin. In fact, if you have ticketed, you could do the same yourself.

seat selection for online bookings in Y and in limited cases, J, is not a perfect representation of the flight's seat allocation. The choices you have usually represent "seats that are available for pre-selection" rather than seats which are available full stop.

Sorry, no one would have an answer unless he ticketed for the same flight, and even his he did, pray hard that he even bothr to tell you.

Perhaps the only way is to get a kind soul who has a SIN-LHR flight booked in Y on other dates, to switch their booking to your dates, look at the seatmap/post it here for you, then switch it back to their previous date... possibly losing their own seat they had selected (if they did), and possibly losing their seat if it's during a peak season/in the very near future.

It's a tough ask... but not impossible. I don't have any SIN-LHR tix booked with SQ unfortunately, or I wouldn't have any qualms doing it.

Ok guys, I took the risk and booked my tickets online.

The only seats AC/HK free on the upperdeck are the 74H and 74K.
I took these 2 seats !

That's no more free for pre-selection. A lot of them are blocked until online check-in opens.
