I’m gonna sound like a snob, but I think it’s great and fair.
The people with the money don’t have the time and energy to play with credit cards and etc just to rake up miles and struggle to find that precious redemption ticket.

So the people with the money who PAY real money for the tickets deserve to have first dibs/preferential seating. I’m glad they finally did this.
if I’m not wrong, PPS/KFEG (the real value customers) who redeem tickets still get to choose seats from across all too.

Only PPS as KFEG is relatively easy to get with minimal flying.
