I needed to reschedule my UA to Singapore this week. I called UA 1K reservation number. Guess what? It took me by surprise. The computer voice answered immediately and said "Are you SQ LPP?" I was quiet a second since I was confused. Then, the voice came back as "Are you calling on behalf of SQ LPP?"
I just mumbled yes or correct, and within seconds a nice lady came on the line, and she had my profile up.
Good job, UA! And again, SQ should learn from this...





Note: In fact, every time I called certain number of SQ YVR, the person who answers the phone know exactly who calls! But I am sure it's the caller ID.

When I told the agent that I was so surprised with this new feature, she said, yes, she has heard from other 1Ks who called this month. She said that actually UA has not made the announcement about this new features yet. So it's kind of random at the moment.

IIRC this change was made about a month ago. Thankfully they "recognize" both of the mobile numbers they have on file for me.
