After taking pictures, the LSS came back and ask what I would like to have for a drink. I said a glass of Krug, please. As expected, she apologized for unable to serve me that. Yes, only Dom on the ground in the US land.
Since it was my tenth different 77W, I could not resist to ask for a picture or two. And here you go. 9V-SWK, LSS and the Dom at SFO Gate 101. I told her that my friends would not believe me if I took th epicture of SWK signage only. Photoshopped?

After this, of course I have to let her helping the other two F pax who just arrived seated in 1A and 2A.
meanwhile, while sipping my Dom slowly, I have this view from my window.

      Additional cushion for a trial

Since the introduction of 77W with this new seats, there are many criticism regarding the seat comfort. One of them is the fact that the seat is too wide. Thus uncomfortable while seating without armrest nearby. In a few of these 77W, they introduced the additional cushion.

The New Improved F Seats on 77W

The cushion is a bit hard, but at least it is good for an arm rest, or for leaning over... without the new trial cushion, I usually use the pillows.

And here is fumitani pose. But forgot to have a pink shirt.

        Safety Video

It was so tempting to turn on the IFE, but I know it was on because the safety video will be played very soon. And after that the crew will be so vigilant in the compliance of no headseat to be used during taxiing and taking off.

The screen on 77W is very large. Thus, in general I would wait to watch the good movies when I have a schedule on 77W flight. It is hard to go back to the small screen anymore.

While pulling out from Gate 101, full view of Air China.

Now you can see LH 744 bound to FRA. And on the far left of the building, that's where SKL is.

Passing UA Dometic Terminal. I think that's gate 89 and 90.

Views during taking off from SFO

I don't remember the number for the runway, but it's the usual runway flying to Pacific, west direction.

United Airlines hangar and South of San Francisco (far left)

            Highway 101 toward San Francisco

The city of San Francisco with the Bay Bridge in the background and South San Francisco in the foreground. The hill is the one that a very long time ago a QF pilot almost made a boo boo.

                  More views from seat 2F

This is the reason why I love to seat on the right hand side of the plane when flying to Asia from SFO.

Soon enough, the seat belt sign went off. And it's time for the first drink. Yes, now Krug can be served on board.

Unfortunately, the nuts were not warmed.

And the flight path seems to get further away from the US land.

LSS came to confirm my BTC. I said I would keep beef bulgogi as my lunch main course. Yes, I remember a stamp of approval from a respected SQTalker here. But for lobster thermidor I had a second thought as the light meal. Would really love to give the lobster thermidor to the guy in 11K but there is no way how to communicate that.
In the mean time, I was shocked looking at the menu. It was the same as January.

As you see in the menu, there is a code: SQ15QC SFO-ICN-SIN (LF/SN1/LMF/DF) 15-1.1 01 FC which in this case showing for the month of January. Some menus will show 01-02 as valid for both January and February. The LSS also agreed in this case. She remembered another route she took prior to this flight.

I was not happy with this. But I remember comments from other flyers that this SQ route has a weakness in the meals offerings. But again, flight to NRT seems has more exciting menu. I mentioned to LSS that it would be hard for my next segment because I had tried all what offered on the menu for ICN-SIN.

                        Here is the menu.

After the lunch service and watching a movie, since I knew exactly I did not have enough sleep for the past 9 days, I decided to take a nap, i.e. sleeping. Thus no snack in the middle of the flight time.
