On this trip, I think we were lucky with the weather as well. It was quite cool on most days when we were there, whereas a friend who went just a few weeks later said that the weather was very hot and on some days there were many flies as well because of the heat, which was an issue for some of the young children they were travelling with. That said, I think the variety of weather conditions you experience in Australia is part of its appeal...
