Can't wait for the rest of your TR...great TR btw, as usual!
    Thanks mate...
    I'm really agree with you...
I think GA is really worth to try now...
Service wise, it's quite (or even very) good...

The SYD surrounding area seems become smaller and smaller as they flew higher and higher...

    Now back to the cabin...

Waiting until they reached the cruising altitude, this "kampung guy" stretched out and made him comfortable in cradle position...

After the seat belt sign was turned off, the FA began moving around the cabin, preparing for snack time...
Lunch would be serve at mid flight, about 2 hours after take off...

So... how was this "kampung guy" experience with this GA inflight service?
Was it really a great one?
What about the other cabin features of this aircraft?

Just stay tuned for the last installment of this "kampung guy" adventure...

They're in the holding position for a while, waiting for this Virgin Blue landed...

After that Virgin Blue began to vacate the runway, this "kampung guy"'s planes began to enter the runway....

Ahhh... Philippines Airlines' A340 was taxiing to the runway, ready to fly back to MNL...

Now it's 12:56... And the DPS bound GA began her push back process...

While waiting for the boarding process completed, he took the pictures of the menu that day...

    Seat features....

The seat pitch ala Grand Dame SQFlyergirl...

The FA very nice and full of smile...
They're very attentive to the pax...

Once this "kampung guy" has settled down, one of the orange kebaya girl came, and brought hot towels and the other one's offering welcome drink...
Champagne, juices, water, and the GA signature drink: Martebe Juice...
Of course this "kampung guy" opted the latest, his favorite... Martebe juice...

And then another orange kebaya girl distributed the amenity kits, the burgundy silk pouch....

Some nice view from the window...

Now it's time for them to board the aircraft...

SYD's using only one aerobridge for this aircraft... attached to door 1L...

They were greeted by the flight purser at the door...
    And welcome them by name...
But no escort service was performed...
    That's fine... it's just J, not F... so it's acceptable...

Nephews sat at row 1, and this "kampung guy" settled down at 2A...
    Here are the cabin views....

Btw, you can also have Rijsttafel on board GA to AMS...
I am very blessed indeed to have traveled through beautiful Indonesia in the last four decades. It is definitely one of the countries to which I have an intimate connection

I remember flying on a Vickers Viscount on our way to a jungle river safari once. And on the manual departure board at JKT, saw there was a DC3 chartered by the Forestry Ministry taking off before us, I was so envious and wished I was on the DC3!
