thanksgiving at taipeiflyer's

hey everyone, i know it is WAY in advance... but wanted to post it here anyways, and it can be bumped up later. wanted to welcome all sqtalkers who will be in the LA area during thanksgiving to be the guests of taipeiflyer and girlfriend of taipeiflyer. i have a very small family, so it's always nice to share the holidays with others, and be thankful for all of the blessings i have. every year i try and invite a group of people- my classmates when i was in grad school, friends of friends who were far from home, etc, and since i have met so many sqtalkers and always REALLY enjoyed everyone i have met, i thought the opportunity to share the holiday with all of you would be really rewarding. significant others and children are welcome too.. there's plenty of room for one and for all. don't worry about bringing anything besides good conversation, i'll take care of everything else... i actually really enjoy cooking. so if you think this sounds like fun, you are alone on the holidays, or even if your life is just remarkably boring and you have nothing better to do (don't worry, i wont be offended), please join us. your presence is most welcome.

Thanks for the open invitation, taipeiflyer, have been meaning to go to the States again myself for a long while now.

I take it this is on the Thursday the 26th of November (presumably including the 27th and maybe even into the weekend)?

(I had to Google as I'm not familiar with USA holidays)

I will pull whatever strings I can to come and support the event... challenging though when looking at my schedule.. but will try!

HUGE AL, i know you might be with the fam, but you and them are welcome to if you want to switch it up- i always love hanging out with you. for those who are unsure if they can attend, thanksgiving is on a thurs, but if it is easier for more people to make it on a weekend, we can always have it then. as people's plans become more definite, the date will be adjusted accordingly. it will be a lot of fun.

taipeiflyer thank you for the kind invitation. Unfortunately it is very unlikely that I will be in the states at that time of year. However if things change then I will definitely keep it in mind.

Having been lucky enough to spend a coupleo of my birthdays with SQTers in recent years I can confirm that they are good bunch to spend those special days with.
