Well, it's bloody freezing here in South Norway, but nothing like the -17 degrees when I flew into Oslo on Monday.... Had a hell of a time shovelling snow from my 3rd storey balcony onto the road below (late at night when there was hardly any traffic)!!
God must have been a ship owner, he placed the raw materials far from where they are needed and covered two-thirds of the earth with water...

I didnt mean the max temp was odd I meant that the overnight temp was awful and ive never seen it that hot. Like I said when I left work at 8pm it was 40! and when i went to bed at 1:30am it was still 35 !!!. its also crappy given that we had 40+ in early to mid january and that usually feb is the hottest month
Ive flown SQ and I adore it

I was very lucky to have escaped the 43 degree heat due to being in SIN at that time (mid 30s in SIN isn't so bad in comparison!). It's now a relatively pleasant 24 degrees in Melbourne.

Here in Edmonton we had a record low of -51'C, you heat complainers want to share the heat? I got plenty of free air conditioning to share!

This will make perfect sense to anyone who has spent a decent amount of time in Melbourne...
last week (the horrible hot day) when I left work at 8pm it was 40 degrees
exactly one week later at 8pm when I left work it was 15.9 degrees
I adore Melbourne weather for its insanity

Yep it seems a cool change has just descended. I hate hot weather and hope we don't get too many >30 degree days or god forbid >40 this summer. Apparently this cool weather will last the next few months!
