how odd is the world weather at the moment.
Im in melbourne and the weather is awful at the moment in terms of heat, yesterday was 43C and the lowest it got overnight was 30.4 at 9am this morning. In fact it was still 40C when i finished work at 8pm and 35 when i crawled into bed at 1:30am ! it was awful to try and sleep.

Now I know people in other parts of the world are having somewhat different experiences with the weather at the moment. if you want to bitch and complain go ahead !

Sure, the weather in Singapore is always humid+sunny or raining of late. Hate this stickiness!!!

Then again, don't particularly fancy Australia's dry heat either...

It's still bloody freezing here in Northern England, and the snow that fell in mid December is still here due to the cold weather. It was added to last week as well with the heaviest snow we've had in over 20 years. I can't recall snow falling and lasting a month around here, ever!.

-37C (yes, that's a minus sign) at 3pm in Ulan Batar. Wonder whatit will be after 12 hours at night. Well, after -10 it really doesn't make a difference.

When I lived in Riyadh some years back, no one bothered to look at the temperature during the summer. We just thanked some especially beneficient deity that we weren't the coolies slaving outside of our air conditioned comfort. At least it was a dry heat. Seriously tho, I preferred the dry heat of RUH to the unbearable humidity of SIN or worse DXB in the summer.

Some people in the UK are spending more time talking about the weather than doing any constructive work. I wish they would just get on with their lives. So much work to do still and all they do is yap yap yap. It's not like I've not skidded or been stuck on the roads for at least three hours, country roads not gritted, etc. Everyone's experiencing the same problems. What's there to talk about?!
