Looks like it doesn't work when accessed from non-US IP addresses... Can you recommend a good proxy server solution, Mr. IT Security?

I see milehighj needs some entertainment while he's at work. You know, when I was down in S'pore, I had trouble accessing comedycentral.com to watch some South Park episodes. A friend of mine said that South Park is banned in the country, but I didn't know they were blocking sites off the internet. Very strange...

Happens in many countries as well especially in the middle east, China and certain parts of South America...

Never tried it, but a google search turns up ukproxy.com

Want to watch iPlayer, I presume?

Anyone having trouble with hotspotshield?? It worked great for a while, but now everytime I try to use it an overlay ad page from RSS2Search (or something like that) comes up and there is no way of closing it...

Perhaps our dear mods could split this discussion off into a new thread about proxy servers?

I've been having the same problem -though the last couple of times it has come up I've been able to close my browser and reopen it and I go back to my home page with hotspotshield up and running.

I haven't tried hotspotshield in the last month or so. I'm on a 3G card that's acting more like a 0.3G card so haven't bothered.

Try surfthechannel.com to see if you can watch it there. Quality is much lower, but fine for my laptop screen.
