Why the surprise? I think AF uniforms are very smartly cut, and the cabin crew (women and men) tend to carry them with aplomb.

I also note that the nominees did not include CX, which I thought did a nice job of fusing Asian and Western design elements. (Admittedly, CX wouldn't have received the single vote I was allowed. )

I'm surprised that Emirates is only scoring 4% !

I recall their uniform being very eye-catching when I flew SIN-BNE (and they have a night uniform too, which I thought was a nice touch)
